In 1998, Sandy moved to the spectacular Smoky Mountains, where she opened a llama trekking company offering nature hikes on scenic mountain trails for tourists and locals. She sold the business after 11 years of wonderful hiking with her herd of 17 pack llamas. She is an avid animal lover and rescuer and enjoys and llamas and alpacas.
Sandy owned and operated a stained glass studio in Gatlinburg, Tn for 4 years in the Glades area in the Arts and Crafts District.
She has recently opened a new llama trekking company called "The Wandering Llamas" and now resides in East Tennessee with 4 llamas and 9 cats! She continues to create beautiful, custom-made stained glass windows for cabins, homes, shops individuals.
